These are words I’ve carried with me often through my life. Things will not always go as planned in life, this is almost a guarantee. Oh how i have made so many mistakes in life and yet I am perfectly happy now. Live and learn. Of course i look back some times and realize, “What the heck was I thinking?” This is so normal, because you have learned from getting burned (so to speak). One awesome thing i have learned that has contributed to my happiness is expectations of people and standards. If you have expectations (and you know you will set them higher than a kite) most likely you will be let down. Its not really for us to expect things to be a certain way. Life is unpredictable and people are too. Don’t set yourself up for failure. Instead, have standards. Standards are set by you, what you will allow and can you really blame anyone if you don’t set the standards of how you want things to be? You and only you can make yourself happy. Think about how you want things to be and set yourself some standards. Quit having all these expectations and live a little. We tend to grow by learning what works for us and what doesn’t. Also things that may have worked for us in the past wont be so appealing due to our growth and maturity and that’s us learning. Make your life how you want it to be and you will be happier. Love yourself a little more… Cz

There is HOPE

This picture says so much to me. It reminds me what a huge universe we have, how big the world is and all of it remains in the palm of our hands. We make choices and decisions that change our lives. We make good choices and bad choices at times. We also have the ability and power within ourself to change the way things are in our life at any time. You can start today or next week and some of us have already started but the choice is there. I’m not saying it’s gonna be easy but start by putting things into perspective and simplifying your life. Stop taking on everyone else’s things until you manage to get your world under control… Take things one day at a time until things look brighter. You cannot conquer it in one day. That’s where the hope and faith comes in. See the life you want and make it happen. Faith and hope have brought me along way so I know it’s possible. If you can only see a dead end that is what you will get… If you can see your goals and dreams coupled with faith and hope you will find a way. I wish you the best 🙂 YOU CAN DO THIS 🙂 Cz

Violetta!!!

I picked up violetta from the Mac store yesterday. It is a pro finish (amplified), so beautiful and vibrant. What a beautiful summer color. It is a permanent pro shade and apparently came out in Mac Venomous Villains collection a while back. Perfect summer color.

My three favorite Mac mineralized skin finish highlighters are lightscapade, soft and gentle and cheeky bronze. I love soft & gentle and lightscapade for highlighting tops of cheeks and cheeky bronze for the bronzed look. They are a high-frost metallic finish adding buffed-up highlights to cheeks and brows, or an overall ultra-deluxe polish to the face.

Some peace for you…

Take a few moments out of each day for some peace of mind. The day can fill up quickly with things do to at work, appointments, friends, Facebook, blogging, talking on the phone, children, etc… So take one break a day for yourself to start off with, be with yourself. It has made such a difference in my world. I actually take a break or lunch with myself everyday and it has made such a difference 🙂 I even started taking days to myself and I believe it has calmed my storm. We are always doing for other people so taking time to yourself is very productive. Mee is the title I put into the calendar subject when it is my time out lol. Here is hoping that this gives you some peace in your world even if it’s for a moment 🙂 Cz
